Abstrak

Dalam menganalisis destruksi demokrasi, budaya politik, moral dan etika politik melalui determinan Vote Buying pada pemilihan umum di Indonesia, artikel ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka. Metode yang digunakan melalui pengumpulan data dengan mencari sumber dan mengkonstruksi dari berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal, dan penelitian yang ada. Determinan Vote Buying yang mendestruksi demokrasi, budaya politik, moral dan etika politik. Determinan yang dimaksudkan seperti kemiskinan, pendidikan, politico-business, relasi patron klien patut untuk dicari akar masalah dan solusinya. Melalui analisis Rational Choice Theory akan membedah dan menelaah destruksi demokrasi, budaya politik, moral dan etika politik melalui determinan Vote Buying pada pemilihan umum di Indonesia. Dalam kesimpulannya artikel ini memuat: (1). Aturan yang dibuat dengan nominal masih belum memberikan efek jera. (2). Rendahnya kesadaran politik masyarakat yang terpapar oleh vote buying. (3). Kaum marjinal secara pendidikan dan ekonomi terabaikan secara politik. (4). Tidak adanya formulasi anti suap dalam skema percontohan dan praktek pemeliharaannya yang berkelanjutan.(5). Biasnya kedaulatan partai politik sebagai instrumen utama dalam mencegah intervensi politico-business. (6). Belum meratanya pengentasan kemiskinan dan pendidikan. (7). Terdapatnya jejaring predatoris yang saling terkait dalam memelihara mahalnya ongkos politik di Indonesia.
