Pemerintahan Desa dan Urgensi Pemeliharaan Tata Kelola Sebagai Wujud Pembangunan Daerah Melalui Pembaharuan Hukum

Abstrak

Desa merupakan bagian dari pemerintahan daerah yang dapat turut menunjang perekonomian wilayah teritorial secara umum. Keberadaan peraturan desa dimaksudkan sebagai suatu manfaat bersama yang mendukung efisiensi desa. Penelitian terdahulu telah mengulas tentang urgensi revisi Undang-Undang, maka gap fokus penelitian ini adalah mengulas tentang kehadiran Undang-Undang No. 3 Tahun 2024 yang merupakan revisi kedua dari Undang-Undang No. 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa sebagai upaya optimalisasi desa. Dengan tinjauan melalui metode hukum empiris, penelitian ini memberikan hasil bahwa kehadiran Undang-Undang No. 3 Tahun 2024 tentang Desa merupakan salah satu langkah yang diambil oleh pemerintah pusat dalam upaya optimalisasi desa. Undang-Undang No. 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa dinilai masih belum dapat mengakomodir kebutuhan akan kepastian hukum bagi desa, maka kehadiran Undang-Undang No. 3 Tahun 2024 tentang Desa diharapkan dapat menjadi jawaban atas permasalahan yang belum terjawab yang belum dituntaskan oleh Undang-Undang No. 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa.
